The International Institute for Fine Arts Practice, Research, and Preservation addresses the contemporary need for archiving techniques associated with the visual arts across the globe. The threat of loss to traditional visual languages is severe, and without a library for future reference visual culture is at risk of losing its history regarding practice.

Through regular conferences, symposia and exhibitions, the IIFPRP will bring together scholars, practicing artists, and historians that specialize in endangered techniques and processes in the visual arts. Associated workshops, lectures, exhibitions and archiving projects will allow cross cultural connection and provide resources for future generations.
